Here’s another delicious organic wine from the fab Amoterra project, this time a fresh and citrussy Trebbiano.

Amoterra means to ‘love the land’, this is the ethos of this fab winemaker that’s dedicated in making sustainable wine more accessible. The humble Trebbiano grape seems to take on extra character in Abbruzzo as this lovely white wine proves. It’s made from 100% organic grapes that are handpicked from selected vines on the Adriatic coast. After fermentation there’s 3 months lees ageing,

If there’s a white wine that can whisk you away to the beautiful surroundings of the Italian coast then this is it. Aromas of pears and green apple with touches of citrus and herbs. Superb concentration with flavours of ripe lemon, basil and a saline minerality.
