A modern and vibrant style of Rioja to pair with a hearty Paella or a rich lamb and mint dish.

Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes cultivated on the hillside vineyards of Rioja Baja (now called Rioja Oriental), this is a great introduction to wines from the area, where the vineyards are around 600 metres above sea level and have clay stone soil. The grapes are crushed and chilled for several hours before fermentation is started, which is temperature controlled and lasts for 15 days.
