2020 Brisa de Verano Garnacha Tinto, Aragon

A perfectly balanced Garnacha (with a touch of Syrah) that captures the very essence of this beautiful grape variety.
The predominantly Garnacha fruit is selected from hillside plots of low yielding bush vines. Garnacha and Syrah are vinified separately in stainless steel with up to 15 days maceration, then combined to make the final blend.
Brisa de Varano translates to ‘summer breeze’ and this couldn’t be more apt, with pronounced aromas of dark plum and bramble fruit jam, and a surprising streak of cool lavender and violet. The palate has layers of red fruit, blackberry and mocha notes, together with ripe tannins and hints of peppery spice. The result is a rich and complex red with a full finish.
Pairs exceptionally well with rich stews, sausages and chorizo dishes.
