A gorgeous skin contact white from the impressive Domaine du Pelican, owned by Burgundy legend Marquis d’Angerville.

Since its birth in Montigny-lès-Arsures in 2012, Domaine du Pélican has rapidly established itself as one of Jura’s leading lights, producing exceptional biodynamic wines that mix finesse with thrilling Jurassien character.

A unique, full flavoured wine that retains tremendous vibrancy. Pungently fragrant, intense but balance notes of apricots and quince mixed with bitter sweet fresh herbs, underpinned by a deep mineral note. Mutli-faceted and so layered, there is a lot going on here, partner with exotic spicy foods or even with strong blue cheeses such as Stilton!

Pélican made this ‘skin contact cuvée’ for the first time in 2018. It gives the wine additional structure without losing its tension and vibrancy. This latest release is a step up in terms of quality.
