One of the legendary Rioja Reservas, Viña Ardanza never fails to deliver year in and year out.

This classic Rioja is a blend of 80% Tempranillo and 20% Garnacha. It’s matured for three years in American oak barrels (used, not new) and then aged further in bottle. 2016 was a warm year however this wine has a surprising freshness to it. It has a classic Ardanza nose with hints of ripe, red fruit, cinnamon, mocha, orange peel and nutmeg. It’s incredibly velvety on the palate with soft tannins. Although this is already drinking well be sure to stash a bottle or two away as this wine has plenty of life in it.
