Description

This is a single vineyard Ripasso with a strong bouquet of blossom with hints of wild berries and jam. It is made following the traditional Ripasso method with fermentation on the Amarone skins.

Grapes for this wine come from a predominantly flat, single vineyard site close to the hills of northern Verona, at an elevation of 100-300 metres above sea level. The soils here are medium-textured.

After harvest, the grapes were brought to the winery, crushed and destemmed before fermentation at 22-28°C. After fermentation, the wine underwent a second fermentation on Amarone skins. Ageing took place in oak casks.

A vibrant ruby red in colour, this wine has a powerful bouquet of cherry blossom, wild red berries and jam that follows onto the rich, smooth palate. Spoil yourself with your next spag bol!
